FOR MY KIDS
Our theme for the youth is: Moving Towards Purpose.
We absolutely believe what scripture says – that the Gospel is the power of God to salvation (Romans 1:16). That faith comes from hearing and hearing through the Word of Christ (Romans 10:17). That God’s Word will accomplish its purpose as it goes out (Isaiah 55:11).
From the shyest introvert to the boldest Christian youth in our church, every student can be involved with sharing the gospel. We encourage our young people to trust God's promise in Isaiah 55:11, “So will my word be that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish that which I purpose, and will succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
We are focusing on students giving other students the gift of the gospel. Over the years we’ve seen the Gospel disappear from churches and youth ministries. To stay “relevant” we’ve too often shaped our ministry and our message to fit students rather than calling students to shape their lives around Christ. Christ is the only hope of every student in your ministry, every student in your area, and every person in the entire world. It’s really not more complicated than that. All have sinned. All stand condemned. Our only hope is Jesus Christ.
At RisingView, we take our responsibility to care for students very seriously. Our classes are intended to facilitate a safe and nurturing environment in which students can grow in relationship with Jesus Christ. All of our volunteers undergo a criminal background screening and sexual abuse awareness training.
Every Sunday, we offer Sunday school classes for our elementary aged children and our teens.
Every Wednesday, we hold a youth bible study for ages ranging from 1st grade to 12th grade.
Every 1st Sunday @ 6pm we host a community student night for middle and high school youth.
RisingView Middle School meets 2nd thru 4th Sundays.
Our youth lead service every 5th Sunday.
